I started my futurist journey at the end of 2022 and got my certificates in 2023. My article that I worked on in one of the Futures Studies courses was accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed Journal of Futures Studies. That summer, I announced on Linkedin that I’m starting my new consultancy and foresight work. But then life happened…

My family needed me and I hadn’t realised that I also needed a long break as I was noticing signs of burnout (for the 2nd time after a decade).
Of course, being me, I didn’t completely stop work. I made use of the time to co-write the A–Z Book with my friend and colleague, Miranda Novash.
I properly got back to work this summer, teaching on several online pre-sessional courses for Oxford Institute Digital Institute, preparing students for higher education in the UK. I hadn’t realised how much I had missed working directly with students. I was very grateful for this opportunity.
And now, it was time to come back to my Futures Studies and Foresight work. I applied to the Association of Professional Futurists and was accepted.

There was even a welcome party ◡̈

As a futurist or foresight practitioner, I can work and facilitate workshops on any topic. But for my first and long-term project, I have chosen — unsurprisingly — language learning futures.

I am very much looking forward to this new phase in my professional life, and I hope to be able to take YOU on futures journeys with me soon too.
I will be offering futures thinking workshops and am open to any other foresight work.
