I started exploring virtual reality in 2008, and did so intensively until 2012. I decided to devote more time to it again in 2020 because of its potential for improving the online learning experience for language learners and teachers. I have since worked as Research Manager and then Head of Research at Immerse, the first virtual reality platform for English language teaching then, and now the first VR language immersion program with live Guide-led language classes.
