Authors
Nergiz Kern is an EdTech and TESOL specialist with experience in emerging technologies in language learning starting 2008, which she’s been writing about since. She is also an experienced English teacher of 20+ years for general English, ESP and EAP, and has taught internationally, face-to-face, and online at universities, language schools and in companies. She has executive leadership and business experience, in the language education and EdTech field. Nergiz is also a qualified futurist.
Miranda Novash is an immersive learning specialist and university-level ESL instructor. She earned her MA TESOL from Portland State University in 2003. Miranda has worked for over 20 years with language learners of various ages and in a variety of teaching contexts, with the bulk of her experience spent teaching academic English to international students in the United States. Since 2022 she has worked as a writer and immersive learning specialist at the VR language learning company IMMERSE.
